MILWAUKEE, WI, May 2, 2022 — Clarios, the global leader in low-voltage battery technologies for mobility, focused on powering progress for people, business and our planet, today appointed Elizabeth Powers chief human resources officer.

Powers has 30 years of human resources experience. Previously, she served as senior vice president, chief human resources officer for Allegheny Technologies (ATI), a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. As an officer and member of ATI’s executive council, Powers led the strategic planning and implementation of human resources programs and labor relations policies and practices to engage ATI’s more than 7,000 employees around the world. She developed and led the process for ATI’s recent CEO succession and several board succession replacements.

“Beth is a proven human resources leader who brings decades of experience and deep knowledge to Clarios,” said Mark Wallace, Clarios’ CEO. “I look forward to Beth’s contributions to the executive leadership team and the greater Clarios workforce.”

Previously, she spent 16 years at Ingersoll Rand in business segment and corporate human resources and labor relations positions. At Ingersoll Rand, she was responsible for restructuring the benefits programs and the startup of the company’s first human resources and payroll shared services organization for its 50,000 employees, which she then ran as a profit-neutral business within the company.
